Old Mill Rose Valley, PA Wedding Flowers, Amaranth Wedding Florist

June 2015 at The Old Mill in Rose Valley, Pa

Julia and Sam at the beginning of June at the Old Mill in Rose Valley, Pa.
All of the details and touches Julia chose for the wedding flowers went perfectly together and worked so well at the Old Mill, Rose Valley, PA. Her wedding bouquet was a mix of yellow, blue, lavender and pale pink garden flowers arranged in a more natural style that is a specialty of Amaranth Florist. Some of the flowers used were delphinium, craspedia, lavender and pink stock, blush peonies, blue irises, pink larkspur, thistle, yellow zinnias, cornflower and ladies mantle. Her bridesmaids had similar bouquets with more vibrant colors, such as fuschia peonies, pink calla lilies, solidago, yarrow, green hydrangea, purple stock, cornflower, thistle, and craspedia.

The wedding centerpieces were a natural style in wooden boxes Julia provided. Most of the flowers used, such as the queen anne’s lace and dusty miller, had drape to them to give the centerpieces a flowing, window-box look. The other flowers used were gerbera daisies in various shades, fuschia stock, pink snapdragons, cornflower, thistle, irises, larkspur, and peonies. None of the centerpieces were exactly the same so they were very fun to design!

Additionally, special shout out to that cake. Oh man that cake. That is the most delicious-looking cake I have seen in a while, and I’ve seen lots of them! The style is perfect for the location, and those sliced figs and mixed berries? Yes please! Now, who wants cake?
