Another beautiful Merion Tribute House wedding, located just a few miles from Amaranth Florist. This vivid rose bouquet turned out absolutely stunning against the bride’s fur stole and detailed white wedding dress. These gorgeous stand out roses opened perfectly for Cathy and Jack’s Wedding. Valerie and Trevor were married in August of 2014 at the Merion Tribute House. I knew as soon as I read over her floral proposal I was going to love making these bouquets (remember my undying love of texture?). Valerie actually brought in some of the greenery used in the bouquets from her back yard, it couldn’t have matched her color scheme any better! The elegant garden-look worked so well with the Merion Tribute House’s atmosphere.
The bridal bouquet had two varieties of white dahlias (one just white and one with yellowish centers), creme roses with pale yellow centers, white ranunculus, pale yellow hypericum berries, grey brunia berries, dusty miller, and seeded eucalyptus. The bridesmaids were very similar to the bride, just without the dahlias and the addition of scabiosa pods. I loved the way the bridesmaids bouquets looked against their slate dresses, the dusty greenery looked perfect!

Lauren and Chris were married on June 15th at one of my favorite wedding venues, the Merion Tribute House in Merion, Pa. Prior to the wedding, Lauren had gathered a variety of broaches to be incorporated into the bouquets, one of the many little fun, personal touches their wedding had.
Lauren’s bouquet was all white peonies and large, white calla lilies with her black and crystal broaches. The maids had bouquets in bright pinks which popped wonderfully against their navy dresses. They had pink peonies and stargazer lily blossoms, as well as broaches in shades of pink and white.
For their ceremony, Lauren wanted us to create a curly willow arch, which we decorated with flowers to match the personal flowers. The arch does a wonderful job of framing the space, and makes a great backdrop for photos!
