The simple palette of the wedding flowers added to the classic elegance of Alexis and Brian’s Hotel Monaco wedding, Oct 2015. Bridal flowers include: pastel pink and ivory rose, white hydrangea bouquet and floral arrangements with pink garden roses, white peony, seeded eucalyptus, and greenery.
At Amaranth Florist we love the incredible architecture that provide a backdrop for many of the photos. The bridesmaids in black continued the elegant and classic theme at this Philadelphia wedding.

This stunning flower bouquet with a sophisticated wildflower feel was the perfect look for Megan and Josh’s wedding at the Philadelphia Horticulture Center.
The color scheme was worked out perfectly by the bride with a choice of sunny yellow bridesmaids dresses, aqua shoes and bright yellow, blue and pink bouquet accents. The bouquet includes just a touch of pink roses and was then wrapped with a burlap tie to continue the sophisticated wildflower look.

Lisa and Doug were married on May 10th this year at the Fairmount Park Horticultural Center in Philadelphia, Pa. The Horticultural Center is a beautiful place to have a wedding! The interior is incredible, and the exterior is just as beautiful. Their long reflecting pool is a wonderful focal point for a ceremony, and while the greenhouse comes practically pre-decorated with all of the greenery, it’s amazing seeing the transformation once all of the tables, flowers, and guests arrive.
Lisa’s simple, elegant all-white bouquet was composed of garden roses, spray roses, calla lilies, lisianthus, ranunculus, and lilac. It was so fragrant! The garden roses and lilac have such a wonderful scent to them.
Her bridesmaids bouquets were very vibrant in lavender, purple, light blue, deep pink, white, and a little burgundy. They had standard and garden roses, ranunculus, delphinium fleurettes, hydrangea and peonies. Again, between the garden roses and the peonies they smelled so good!
As ever, be sure to pop over to our facebook page for more great photos from Lisa and Doug’s wedding!

I had the pleasure of working with Naomi and Josh on their wedding last July at the Franklin Institute, and I must say everything looked spectacular! This was our first event at the Franklin Institute, we really couldn’t have asked for a cooler place. From the ceremony under the stars in the planetarium, to cocktails around the giant heart, and the reception in the main hall with Ben Franklin’s statue, I’m sure the guests won’t soon forget this wedding!
Naomi’s bouquet was elegant yet fun, in shades of white and yellow. White stock and Creme de la Creme roses accent the delicate cattleya orchids that are the focus of the bouquet. The frills of the orchids wonderfully matched the skirt of Naomi’s dress!
Amaranth Florist of Philadelphia and Narberth was glad to be a part of this special wedding!
