The Old Mill, August 2014

Old Mill Pink and White Rose Bouquet

Ah, another Old Mill wedding in the Rose Valley, PA. It’s really the perfect venue for pretty much any wedding, but works especially well with rustic ones. Michelle and Bryan were married last August, and their wedding fit the Old Mill so well. They had some inclement weather forcing their ceremony inside, but you’d never know it was raining from the photos!

Michelle’s bouquets were beautiful. Some of my favorites that I’ve done to date, actually. Her bouquet had lots of coral spray roses, white lisianthus, white dahlias, white spray roses, green hypericum berries, mini green succulents, dusty miller, and hanging amaranthus (our namesake!) . As you may have gathered from previous posts, I’m a sucker for texture and this certainly had it! Michelle’s maids had more color to them with deep pink and coral spray roses, peach stock, peach berries, and dusty green succulents. Their bouquets really complimented their coral dresses wonderfully.

For the centerpieces, Michelle had gathered and decorated lots of assorted bottles to be filled with flowers in her color scheme. The tables had beds of green moss as well as vintage books to compliment the assortment of bottles. It looked really great! This is the second wedding I’ve done with books as accents, and I really love it.

Head on over to our Facebook page for some more photos from Michelle and Bryan’s wedding, as well as many others!
